Team sports, such as Rugby and American Football, were also included in the program in an effort to expose the boys and girls to different sports.
On the 15th of May, 2012 Team Sports4All 2012 a summer-long program of activities for boys and girls commenced at the Nadur Ground. In total, 21 boys and 12 girls took part.
The organizers, Ghajnsielem Fit4Life, worked with the Ghajnsielem Local Council to implement this program co-financed by the Kunsill Malti għall-iSport, the Ministry for Home and Parliamentary Affairs and the Parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sports.
Softball was formally introduced to the boys, while the girls continued with their preparation to participate in the competitions organised by the Malta Baseball and Softball Association.
