The Għajnsielem Redcoats is one of only seven clubs to receive the Healthy Club Quality Mark Award from The Move Transfer Project, an EU funded project of the International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA), the Sport Union of Slovenia and SportMalta.
The Club was assessed by officials from the project and was judged to be a club which has (1) qualified and professional coaches; (2) sporting activities from which everyone benefits even those who might not be athletic; (3) socially inclusive policies so that nobody gets excluded; (4) support individuals from every aspect not just their athletic development; (5) promote healthy lifestyle not just through physical activity but also nutrition, as well as through personal care and development, among other aspects.

This is quite significant for the Club as it provides an official confirmation of the great work that Għajnsielem Redcoats are doing in the community, and to promote sport.
During a ceremony held at the Marsaxlokk Football Ground Hon Dr Clifton Grima, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Sport and Voluntary Organisations, along with Hon Dr Luciano Busuttil, Chairman of SportMalta, and Mr Mark Cutajar, CEO of Sportmalta, praised the efforts of the seven Maltese clubs which made the quality mark. Mr Cutajar insisted that the assistance for these organisations will not stop with the funds that were handed to these clubs respectively to finance the purchase of equipment. Support will be ongoing to ensure that these clubs will continue to develop and achieve higher quality marks.
