RECAP
The Ghajnsielem Redcoats put on a fine performance to beat Mellieha 14-0 in the first game of the Youth Softball Minor League organised by the Malta Baseball & Softball Association at the Sannat Ground.
It was a mature performance by the young Redcoats who were almost impeccable defensively committing a solitary error in the final inning. Although, many contributed with key hits and fine defensive plays it was Ian Refalo who stood out in this first game of the season for the Redcoats. The third baseman of the Redcoats went 4-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and two runs batted in.
